I am not that big on bikinis mostly because I’m never happy with my weight, like most women i guess. But i really enjoyed this high waist bikini this summer, originally the 1950s it may be considered retro or vintage but that isn’t the case anymore. I got this gorgeous floral bather from Topshop and there’s tons more styles and patterns you can buy online. The modern bikini is an invention of the 20th century brought upon by changing shifts in society and fashion. The swimwear of women in the early 20th century was very different than today. I love this because it is flattering and shows off the female form very well. Its feminine yet quirky and gives you complete confidence without it being a one-piece swimsuit.
